This coverage of the supposed "scandal" in the justice department is completly a waste of time. President Clinton's Attorny General fired U.S. Attorney's, did you see Congress investigating then? This is just a Democratic plan to make Bush look like a fool, and yes he already looks like a fool in the eyes of most Americans...but not me.

Pledge of Allegience

Today I found a bill on line that was introduced in the Michigan Senate on January 30th, 2007. The bill would require all schools, public and private, to say the Pledge of Allegience. This is a great bill, and one that I am proud to say I tired to fight for in Howell Public Schools. If this bill does not pass I for one will be ashamed to live in Michigan. We need to teach our kids the values that America was founded on; one of them being patriotism.

"The revised school code,"
(MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1304.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
SEC. 1304. (1) THE BOARD OF A SCHOOL DISTRICT OR INTERMEDIATE 1
SCHOOL DISTRICT OR BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL ACADEMY 2
SHALL ENSURE THAT THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE 3
UNITED STATES IS OFFERED EACH SCHOOL DAY TO PUBLIC SCHOOL PUPILS IN 4

Iraq Showing Progress

Well the Dems were wrong...again...President Bush's surge of troops is working..violence is down and peace looks emminent. But there is still violence and much work needs to be done...but everything will be accomplished if America waits it out and secures a free Iraq.
