Granholm on the Attack

In the Sunday Detroit Free Press, (June 25th issue), on page 2Bthere is a article stating that Granholm is attackig her challenger, DeVos. She is stating that DeVos cut jobs in Michigain while expaniding in China. While DeVos did cut jobs in Michigan, and expanded in China, (thank you Kevins for pointing this out), DeVos also has helped Michigan. To me this attack on DeVos is a very low thing to do in a election. I would condem this act if it were done be Democrat or Republican.

While DeVos has been stating that he is the right choice for Michigan, and has the bussiness experience Michigan needs, Granholm is attacking DeVos, and not giving the public a good reason to re-elect her. Now with DeVos releasing his 65 page economic plan Granholm needs something. That is why I say support DeVos to change Michigan!!!

How did you find out about this blog? Also who is Mike McGonegal? You are right that we need some sanity in Lansing.

Mike McGonegal is a candidate for the 66th District seat in the Michigan House of Representatives. To find out more about Mike and why he's the best candidate go to the blog and read his bio.

Mike McGonegal is a democrat. Why are you posting an ad on a GOP blog? Are you trying to kid us?

Mike McGonegal is a Democrat, so what’s the point? You only vote for a person because he has an R after his name? Aren’t you a little young to be brainwashed and unable to think for yourself? Many people who call themselves republicans vote for the candidate that will best represent them and solve the problems facing them. You should consider it. If Mike is elected he will represent you and not the special interests and lobbyists.

Communications Guru,

Aren't you a little old to be hanging out on a teenager’s blog bugging him? Do you only feel confident arguing against fourteen year olds (though I have to say, you really aren't even doing to great a job at that)?

Chris Ward, who happens to be the current house majority leader from the 66th district, is an honerable man with firm and true beliefs. I doubt his opponent McGonegal has any chance, and you are certainly wasting your time campaigning for him here. Are you honestly so desparate that you have to try to win votes from declared republicans?

Republicans join and support the GOP because they believe that party best supports their principles. I happen to know this young man and I can tell you that he has thought through his beliefs well. You lost any credibility you had the instant you started criticizing him without any idea of what you were talking about.

You are right about one thing, though: we do need more sanity; you're living proof.

Thank you daniel christianson for pointing out that I misspelled politics. I also agree that we need more sainity in Lansing, and Dick DeVos, Chris Ward, Valde Garcia, and any other Republican candidate will bring that to Lansing. Why would we want to give Democrates another try at trying to improve Michigan or the nation? We can not tollerate Democrates or anyone for that matter, bashing our troops by saying this war is a total waste of time! We need to show support!!!

I have an uncle who served in Vietnam, and he said while the American citizens were protesting the war, (some even burning the flag), he still knew that his war was just, and needed to be fought and wone! He also said that his morale and the rest of the troops's were so low that they could care less when there service was over! How do you think our men and women who are fighting in Iraq feel? My uncle does not hate those people who burnt our flag, or protested the war, because of one thing, he was sent to Vietnam to defend not only the constitution, but defend the core values that freedom is more important than banning flag burnings, or any thing like that!

We should show support for our troops even if you dont support this war!! Our men and women fighting in Iraq must feel just like the men who served in Vietnam! Do we want another Vietnam? Of course not! That is why we should not let Democrates who destory our troops morale another chance, we should give no one that chance to serve in our national, or state, government!
